I love vintage cameras. Film or video. I have a small collection that grows every once in a while and I love them. Each of them. I know where I got them, or who I got them from, little stories about them. I even received a little Kodak Brownie from my brother for a present once and there was an undeveloped film inside. I developed the film and the pics were probably from the 60s or so, a couple sitting on a stoop. It was great.
My friend is taking a solo trip to Nicaragua and is taking along a fantastic little Olympus Trip 35. The perfect little rangefinder. I hope she captures so many great shots and memories of what’s bound to be a spectacular adventure.
She needed a camera strap, this is what I came up with… I may have gotten a little carried away, but that happens with projects as fun as this.
Veg tanned cognac leather, hand stitched, copper and brass details with a vintage Italian buckle. First attempt at a camera case for a vintage camera, complete.
(I can’t wait to see the photo’s from my friends trip!)
Please vote for my lovely friend Michelle Ford’s photography as her work is beautiful and she is too! just takes a second - thank you x
Hey There!
I have a really hard time with self promoting and putting myself out there, I should have done this 2 months ago and I’m leaving it now with only 5 days left. YIKES! I’d love it if you took a second and clicked VOTE on my profile for the Exposure 2011 photography contest. If I got the most votes I could win a fully paid for 2 week trip to Paris. This is very much last minute, but worth the shot anyways.
